Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to touch base with you and ask that we all be united in
prayer.

First, pray about what is obviously a spiritual battle going on in
Kenya. I think Satan hates the rapid growth of Christianity and is
stirring up anger and tribal hatred to try to prevent it's spread.
Pray that God's forces would be victorious. Spiritual battles are won
by prayer and prayer alone. Get everyone you know to pray, too.

Secondly, pray for the Kenyan people -- that they would be safe and
able to get ample food and water during this time.

Third, please pray that God would give us a very clear sign whether we
are to go or not. We have to purchase our plane tickets by the first
week in Feb. We'll need to decide then if we as a group (and you as
individuals) will be going. I am checking into our options for
purchasing tickets now and potentially changing the trip dates to
Aug/Sept if things still don't look good in March.

Our Lord is sovereign, and He is good. I have no doubt His will will
not be thwarted.
